These questions aim to create a comprehensive picture of your professional background, alignment with ASFAI's mission, ethical considerations, collaborative spirit, vision for the future of AI, and ability to engage with various stakeholders. By evaluating the answers to these questions, ASFAI can select members who not only have the technical, policy, or domain expertise but also align well with the organization's values and goals.

Before you start, please note:
- We review membership four times a year, and admittance into the Society is subject to a board vote.
- Since our membership is capped at 125 members, we accept a small number of applicants.
- There is a $200 non-refundable application fee. If accepted, the $200 is applied to the $2k member fee.
- This $2k fee includes admittance to one of the two semi-annual gatherings, including registration and includes all 6 meals, drinks, meeting space, etc. for both days. Flight & hotel not included.
- Attending both semi-annual events is preferred, but attending at least one of the two events annually is required to maintain membership.
